RNS 510

Featured Replies

May have posted this in wrong place but just a quick query, just been looking on the classified section of the forum, ive seen an RNS510 radio unit, i was wondering if there a straight fit on the fabia vrs. obviousl i know you would more than likely have to remove the little storage area underneath the radio. but is there anything else that would be required for it to work?

Thanks.

iirc the 510 is the new version cd/sat nav so won't fit fit in the mk1.

If your after a sat nav for the mk1 the double din square ones are often on eBay

Correct, RNS510 will not fit in the Fabia MK1, as R1chard has said you need a standard double din unit.

ok cheers for that.

As said - won't work....

In the Fabia, I'd go with one of the Kenwood DDX range, or a Pioneer AVIC:

I did consider an AVIC unit when I had my Fabia. Not sure how much you want to spend - the F920 is well specified, but you might find some of the discontinued models on eBay for example, which might still fit the bill.

i have a pioneer in mine il fire a photo up later it cost me close to a grand at the time it has sat nav bluetooth and usb + sd card reader
