End of the week and then it'll be gone, so a few days only to play with! Anybody??

Trade-in probably going ahead if Monday's phone call goes to plan. Still time for a last gasp bid!

Just ordered a new Octavia hatch 1.4tsi se plus today in white, so I have a couple of weeks left before I pick it up and trade in. Still just about enough time for a deal....

Tumbleweed bump?

Cant believe this hasn't sold, I'll be looking at a mk2 estate in the future, shame I haven't got the cash now

Hope you get a sale, if not good luck with the trade in

Me neither! New car probably a couple of weeks from collection, so I might be better off if I took just over £10k for it! That's gotta be a steal for a car as good as this? Strange someone on here hasn't been on? Had a couple of timewasters on Pistonheads so far, but expected a couple of members to at least nibble! Anyone can check Ingrams Ayr Skoda website in a couple of weeks if they fancy paying £2k more for it?

I take it you live miles away from Epsom? If you're local it might be something we'd be interested in as the mileage is very low.

I do unfortunately. If you were interested in it I'd be prepared to travel in a week or two's time? It is every bit as good as I say it is! I'm sure you'd be hard pushed to find a better example with 2 services and 15k on the clock! Pics & video clips can be arranged...

Please keep any negative thoughts and comments to yourself.

If your not interested then keep quiet ;)

Very last chance for a late sale this week - I'm on the boat from here on Friday and picking up the new Skoda on Saturday, so delivery could be arranged also...

good luck, I'm in the same position, offering my estate L&K on here, it will go for trade in next week and someone will pay £2k more for it. :wonder:

Yeah it's a bit of a bummer! I'm fine with the deal really (although the chance to save a few quid always goes down well) but it'd be likely to be over 2 grand on the price tag when it hits the forecourt most likely! Had hoped a Briskoda member would jump at the chance of one with the rare leather interior and in such good nick with mileage as low as that, but so far it would seem not.....

yup, exactly the same here. Mine's not rare in the sense that it is a standard L&K but that means it has all the toys. Dealer has offered me a very fair price but he's been totally up front and said he's going to sell it for £2k more next week.

Ho hum. :)

They have to give a warrentee on car, Car stood in forecourt taking up space, dealer losing interest on 10k sitting there till sold, salemans wage, tax/vat on profit, running cost of dealership? it is nowhere near £2k profit on selling your car.

fair enough, don't think I said profit though. bought this week it costs £12k, bought next week it costs £14k, that's all. I reckon it is a good trade in price but the dealer has been up front and said what it's worth to him and also that he doesn't mind at all if I sell it first. No waffle, no bull, just straight talking. Just what you need from a dealership.

If it goes for trade in, I'll be happy, if someone on here can save £2k, I'll be happy. I think rossdook and I were just thinking more or less the same as we seem to be in near enough the same position.

Not even going to rise to the bait to be honest, as I'm trading in on Saturday morning. It's always harder to take someone seriously if they can't spell either....

Looks like you're biting indeed!

Mods can we shut this thread down please? Another muppet with no intention of buying the car trying to get his tuppence in again I'm afraid. And because I will be at the garage to pick up my new car tomorrow at 0930 then there's no point keepng it open now. Thanks.

Is this still for sale? :giggle:
