New colour Bronze, any pics yet?

Featured Replies

As title says, is there any yet? I have seen the mock up on the 2012 MY thread but would like to see the offical colour. BTW I dont think its the SEAT colour Boal as was suggested in the thread, as thats deffo brown, although still nice, see pics attached.

That SEAT is your link is too similar to Muscovado. I doubt they will have both colours at the same time. I think if it is the 'replacement' for Tangerine it will be rather striking, also don't forget we are getting Safari metallic after Wk29 which is an awesome colour for both the actual colour (obviously) and the name. I've got a Yeti in Safari...

Just works somehow...

ANy update on pictures of a Bronze Yeti

Hi! I had to register here because it seems that nobody has seen the new colour of my Yeti :D

There has been some debate about the new Yeti colors in Finnish VAG/Skoda forum and it seems that I got the first Terracotta Orange one (Bronze in UK).

Actually it seems to be brighter (lighter, paler - don't know the right expression, sorry) than what I expected. At least, in brochure it seems to be more darker or deeper color. But on the other hand I am completely satisfied and happy with the color what I got.

Here is a link to Finnish VAG forum where I have attached few (small) pictures of my Yeti.

I hope this helps you guys...

I like!

Different, but not screamingly so.

Congratulations, You were brave to order the colour whithout haveing seen any pics of a real Yeti (Skoda :D) with it.

Now I just have to decide between this and Lava Blue (Petrol Blue)... Choises...

But could You please post some bigger pics (at least 1MP) during this weekend on this or the finnish forum?

Someone else might help You with a comment on how it is done on THIS forum (i have not yet done it... :( ).

Nice looking colour

Hope you enjoy

FINALLY! I also ordered one sight-unseen; quite happy with those pictures, just want it here now!

Very nice colour but to my eye similar to the Muscavado, possibly to similar to have both in the line up :wonder: The Tangerine was although not to everyone's taste different.

Would also have liked to see the old Orange Cayenne make a standard rather than limited apperance, having seen one in the metal great colour for a Yeti.

TP

That is the first mettalic colour I have seen on a Yeti that I would have considered instead of the solid red that I went for.

Looks very nice

Our much loved 8 and a half year old Fabia 1.9 Tdi Comfort is Cayenne and comes up a treat when washed.

Would put a photo on but its filthy.

Splendid colour and would suit the Yeti

Cheers

Peter

In Finland we've been enjoying with Terracotta "Orange" since the end of October:

I agree with the poster above in that its very ( too? ) similar to muscovado. I still think the tiguan cherry red metallic would be nice to order!

I like that colour. Bright and light and not too dark. But if I had the choice between this and Muscovado then I think I'd go Muscovado! Love that colour. Though with a blac roof and those Reef edition black alloys... Hmmm.

I have to add few comments to the above discussion about Terracotta Orange color...

I think that Terracotta/Bronze color is actually close to the actual color of bronze. In comparison there is a clear difference between Muscavado/Mato brown and Terracotta/Bronze (I've seen both colors in real life). IMHO Mato brown is brown, but Terracotta is much more lighter and there are even some shades of pink in certain lights. But the color looks good on Yeti. At least I'm still happy with it... And it's good color because you really can't see the dirt on it too much.

Here is a link to Picasa where you can see few pics of my Yeti in different light conditions. These pics are not too good, but that's all what I have right now in decent resolution and without any people.

I ordered my car with so called Design-package which includes Matterhorn black alloys and side door silver strips. But as you can see, the car is fitted right now with winter tires (with metal pins that are allowed to use in Finland). I have to admit that Matterhorn rims looked very nice.

Sorry about my English skills, but I haven't write anything in English for many years :smirk:

Thank You for the new bigger pictures Isojalka, they are good enough!

Especially since You added pictures in different types of light. Interesting.

Mato (Muscovado) Brown looks nice in bright sunlight, but becomes very dark brown in less light (like at winter times in Scandinavia).

I also think Bronze will "hide" dirt quite well compared to many other colours (and maybe some rust when it becomes old :D).

So this new colour "Bronze" wins MY vote, even though to my eyes it looks more like copper!

Ah... I can't wait to see that then. Those Matterhorn wheels have grown on me and with this colour I think they will look smashing.

Re your English: it is perfect! No need to appologise. Thanks for taking the time to share the pics with us.

Great pics, looks like I made the right colour choice!
