I'm hoping the above link will let you access photo's. I'm hopeless with uploading so I'm left with using photobucket as an alternative means.

I'm not 100% committed to letting my Furby VRS go so soon as I have only owned her 7 months but being a married man and looking for a house, the car is my greatest asset in terms of helping towards a mortgage so I'm seeking interest to possibly sell her :(

She's a beautiful Corrida Red and the paintwork on her is immaculate, barring the usual bonnet stone chips.

Currently just ticked over 53k miles and in daily use but very low mileage for a car that's 7 years old (less than 8k a year).

Full Service History of which most is from Skoda themselves and the rest are from specialists.

Last service was done about 1k ago so nothing to worry about. She has also just passed M.O.T a couple of days ago and has 11 months road tax. I take very good care of her and spare no expenses and she is regularly washed and hoovered. The interior is in almost perfect condition with unmarked seats.

Some mods:

312mm brake conversion.

New front + rear brakes/pads.

Cupra console bushes.

Powerflex front wishbone front bushes.

Koni FSD Shock Absorbers.

Eibach pro kit lowering springs.

Whiteline RARB.

SEAT Momo front Strut brace.

17" Inovit (Yoko Parada Spec 2 tyres with over 7mm tread each).

PD160 air intake.

LCR splitter.

BMC Panel filter.

Remapped to 165bhp with printout to show.

Grill surround gloss black.

Light brows.

Inner headlight surrounds black.

6000K HID's.

Wide mouth front bumper.

Team Heko wind deflectors.

Smoked side repeaters.

Lamin-x'd rear facelift lights.

LED's everywhere.

Stubby Aerial.

I'm sure there are more but that's all I can recall. I know I will never get back the money spent/paid for on the car but I will be happy to sell her for £6,250. For that you will get a car with peace of mind that fingers crossed you won't have to spend a penny on for a good amount of time at least. The tyres were only recently purchased brand spanking new. M.O.T has just been done. Taxed the car approx 3 weeks ago and the cars always been serviced on time. All you need to pay for is insurance which is not bad on these as you will all know.

This car really needs to be seen/driven to be appreciated. I am located in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. £6,250.

Any further information, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best.

What do people think of the price?

Is it better to put the car back to standard a bit and make money off the parts?

Absolutely YES. That bumper alone would keep me walking on by tbh, but hey, it might appeal to some I suppose.

Oh, and sorry to say but I think the others are correct over the pricing too.

If you're sitting down, have a look at this. If you don't want a nasty suprise, don't.

You've only to look round at what's available. This can be had for less than 5 grand http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/197738-fabia-vrs-silver-2005-4700-price-reduced/.

Your car is very well maintained with mods to your liking. But Newer cars fetch less than you want for yours. At the end of February I got no interest whatsoever at 6 grand in a well maintained 54,000 06 plate and ended up p/xing it just to get rid of it. The dealer sold it for 6 grand last week (with a 12 month warranty).

Thanks for the information. I think I will have to go down the route of de-modding in that case. Once I find all the standard parts, I'll take off some of the mods and see what I can make up.

I'm sure I recall webuyanycar paying approx £4k for the car and they are normally a mega scam.

I think I might be on my way to stripping down parts at this rate.

I'f already had attention for brakes, pd160 intake + trumpet, RARB, front strut, eibach springs etc.

I'm going to ask a few people for a few favours and get a proper list going.

Do I really want to do this? Everyone wants my goodies :(

Good way of getting a bit nearer the price you're looking for though ey?

Probably find the car easier to sell without the 'added extras', as it certainly does look right and bright.

Cheers. Yeah I'm hoping to raise around the £1k figure from selling parts.

I think I can get some decent money for the car if I advertise in autotrader as they seem to be fetching more money on there. Going to speak to my mechanic over the weekend to find out what it will cost me to standardise the car.

Would anyone be intereseted in the Koni FSD Shocks?

They cost around £450 brand new. I would probably be willing to let them go around the £250 mark as they have done around 10k miles I think.

Once I can get them provisionally sold I'll start stripping (The car of course)

Cheers, was nice meeting you too Lee. Wind deflectors sold a little later.

Someone called to view the vehicle so will see how that goes.

I've pm'd you with regards to the Eibach springs.

For everyone else out there, Koni FSD shocks will soon be on sale also and along with that my Whiteline rear anti roll bar.

I will take £80 for the RARB, no less and the Koni FSD shocks have done about 10k+ miles, will let them go for £250.

They're still on the car at the moment, once they're taken off I'll put up a proper classifieds ad for them
