Hi everyone, after having my car on order for nearly 7 weeks I have contacted SUK and have been given a build date of week 23. I believe this is the beginning of june?

Quite pleased with this as it should include any model updates, but unfortunatly means that i cannot have it in storm blue as its been deleted. Shame as i saw it on a yeti and thought it looked great.I have told my dealer to change it to pacific blue but now im not so sure, SUK say i can make amendments to my order upto about 4 or 5 weeks before the build date so im looking for inspiration.

Any ideas about the colour then? As a personal choice i think black looks a bit too 'executive' and cappochino looks a little like the colour my dad would pick ( however i think both of these colours look great on the estate, strange how the body style affects colour choice is it not? ). Does anyone know what the new colours look like?

As a negative i thought i was over half way through the wait and it now turns out ive got another 10-11 weeks to go but after reading the experiances of others on here if it is week 23 then i will consider myself lucky!

IMO I think the pictures from the rear give the most true colour on the computer screen.

the amethyst is a nice colour, quite clever how it looks a different colour from different angles, not sure how it would look on twindoor though.

Yep... Cheadle Hulme to be more precise, not thought about the new dealer... we purchased through Claybank & no issues with them but St.Mary's Way is closer. Mind you though a service every two years means that I won't be seeing much of the dealers (hopefully)!

Furness Vale is our patch.

Lookers stockport, they opened about 9 weeks ago, when i was looking to order i went to all the dealers in manchester and out as far as warrington and sheffield, but lookers gave me the best overall deal, they said that as a new dealer it was good business to have such a highly specced car with their details on the plate in the area, probably a bit of bs but it was the best deal!

I think that skoda are bringing out a new blue (petrol?) and also a green, so i may wait to see what they are like, although im really not sure about a green!

rosso does look good, but possibly i may need to retire before i have a car that colour...
