Could some kind person possibly put some pics up of there new octy vrs in race blue with a colour coded grill, As i am getting one and want to see what they look like as my current vrs (pre fl) has a colour coded grill which i prefer. Thanks Phil.

I'm picking mine up tomorrow- had the grille surround colour coded and the garage are supposed to be fitting it for me before collection.

Managed to get some quick pics today.

Been too busy washing it and driving it to get any decent pics but I'm sure I'll get some over the next week or so. Hopefully these will help you decide if you like it or not- I think it improves it massively.

Don't be daft, don't think you can colour code the plastic on the pressure washer.

I chose the colour of the car to match the washer instead

Is it possible to buy a chrome surround from the dealers to switch back to standard if required ? I just ordered a race blue vrs on Friday , really like this :-)

Yeah, you can buy just the chrome surround, you'll be best to buy a new Skoda badge as well. That's what we did, stevoraith might still have the part numbers if you need them.

Sorry Danny, I worded that badly lol. Your after the pre-facelift part number? When I say that's what we did, I just meant buying another grill so the car can be returned to standard if we wanted. Steven bought his surround from Skoda, I got mine second hand off eBay and just had to buy a new badge. He'll have the facelift part numbers.

ah no problem mate...how much did u pay for spraying if you dont mine me asking - just so i know what ball park figure im looking for. Cheers.

We got the pair sanded down and painted at Skoda, worked out about £60 each. Thought it was worth paying a bit extra to ensure colour match etc.
