I bought a new chrome surround before the car arrived and had it painted. I then got the dealer to fit it during the PDI.

They gave me the original chrome one back so I have it should I ever want to return to standard.

I do have the FL part numbers, I'll look them out and post them up later.

They are also in the useful part numbers thread in one of the latest pages- I think it was Oobster who posted them.

Sorry Moley, but Danny's car is a pre-FL. The part numbers for the FL are also in the useful part numbers thread.

Credit has to go to Moley, the pics of his were the first I had seen of a Blue FL with the coded grille and they made me decide to do it.

To avoid confusion, the part numbers for the FACELIFT Octavia are;

Chrome Molding for Grille- 1Z0 853 661A 739- Cost £46.95 + VAT

Skoda Sign- 3U0 853 621B MEL- Cost £12.47 + VAT.

Those were taken straight from the invoice I got from Skoda.

Oh I do like the colour coded grill photos, may consider that for my pre-FL vRS.
