Help !

Hs anyone fitted a reversing camera to their Octy ? I have seen a nice compact looking item on ebay which replaces one of the number plate lights.

I have a Columbus Sat Nav and, after reading the book. it looks like, in some options it can show T.V. My theory is that therefore there could be an input I could use for the camera.

Any comments or ideas gratefully received !

Yes it will support reversing camera ....

U might need to update your parking sensor controller and will need coding via vcds.!

Hi

I know its not an octavia, but I fitted a mk6 golf camera to my golf mk5. I made the loom for the taigate. If you use the camera that is used on the golf estate that should fit your octavia. In terms of wiring you only need a feed from reverse light and a permanent live from the fusebox and the coax video cable that runs to the columbus

sorry to hijack the thread, but im thinking fitting a camera too, a wireless one, are these any good ?
