Welcome to the forum.

There are plenty of things to look out for (fear not, the car is still great)

  • cambelt and water pump replaced at or before each 60k
  • turbo sounds like a police siren? on it's way out beware!!
  • leaky rear door seals at the sill level - causes wet carpets in the rear - £10 DIY fix
  • Aircon fan resistor pack can fail - only works on position 4 - £40 DIY fix
  • OEM console bushes fail rapidly - upgrade to SEAT Cupra ones
  • Rear washer pipe pops off in cold weather - PITA and fiddly to fix but do-able

Probably loads of other niggles that people have experienced but on the whole a great solid little car that'll put a smile or two on your face.
