Hmm never thought about them be honest? Is necessary?

if you're going to the expense of upgrading the dampers, springs, ARB, etc then yes as these are a weak point in OEM state B)

How many bushes are there? How much we talkin for a full set?

Mines on almost 100k now and 7 years old. Only bushes that needed doing were the console bushes. Fitted the cupra ones last year. When I fitted them I checked the front wishbone bushes and they were fine as was the arb ones.

Cupra bushes are cheap but you need to make a tool to fit them. Aftermarket ones are more expensive but you don't need a tool to fit them. Or you can buy the cupra console for £70 each from the dealers.

I'd fit each item one at a time then go our and see if it's made a positive improvement. So to me strut brace then rarb then dampers/springs (you will need to remove the brace)

Tips. If you do the console bushes I found it easier to remove the console. Refitting you need to use a strap wrench. While the fronts off it'll be easier to remove the strut to replace the dampers/springs. You'll need a hub opening tool. Rears a piece of ****.

Get a Haynes Manual B) The best for the rear beam is the SuperPro as this fits by hand. Best for front bush on wishbone is the Superpro, console bush...Powerflex fits by hand but the Superpro requires the console unit to be removed and a press. ARB easy! B)

And see this for the rear engine mount. B)

Good idea changing the bushes at the same time. also change the ball joints for the few pounds extra. Most important though is have an alignment done after a couple of weeks to let the new tuff settle down.
