Question about tax/insurance etc

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am going to collect my new Skoda on Friday and I am giving my old car to my girlfriend, however she hasn't passed her test yet, she is taking it the 19th of next month, so the Punto is going to be sat on the drive, however, it will not be driven till she passes her test, as it will have no insurance on it. It will have tax on it though, without been insured for a while, does this cause any problems even if it's not been driven?

TL:DR

Car on Private land, Road Fund Licence, no insurance, is there anything special I need to do?

Thank you for any help!

Having read more the law may have already changed???

The Law has now changed, so you need to cash the tax in and declare it SORN, or insure it.
