Thanks very much Frank

I'm 23 this year and still living at home so fancy something a bit more econmical (full race 1380 with a weber doesn't help) so that I can save for a house plus the fact the gf hardly goes in it due to it being too loud with having no sound deadening lol

Hello Southy,

thanks for the reply!

Dear me boy - you're only 30 years younger than me and you've got a souped up Mini? Would the Fabia VRS be more economical? What about the purchase price?

I'm new to Skoda as well, having just ordered a new Octavia 1.6MPI SE EState, at a very good price. I'm hoping it will be economical also, or I'll get it in the ear from my wife, whom I love very much!!!

I've had the car for the best part of 10 year and slowly done it up over that time. It should be a lot more econmical, insurance is roughly the same, aswell as the tax, the fuel would go twice as far with the Mini going around 26mpg, Fabia should see around the mid to high 40's

I'm looking to spend around 6k for a Fabia vRS, I'm new to them myself but a couple of friends have got/had them and I liked them from looking at theres

Hi Southy,

you go and enjoy yourself my friend.

When I was 18/19, my dad had a Fiat 124 Sport and paid insurance for me to drive it. In a fortnight, I smacked that car on 2 occasions - not a good move!

THe Fiat Punto HGT I had, I only owned it for about 10 months, as I came close to losing my licence, in my early 40s. I then bought a Fiat Multipla, and why not?

Frank.
