Cost of 1st (10000 mile) service. vRS TSi

Featured Replies

Hi people.

First service due soon. What price have people been paying for their first service?

Mind you I guess not many will have that much mileage yet!

Cheers

My dealer reckons just over £100, some on here have said around £110 which I don't think is too bad

10000k already what you doing living in it lol

Aren't you on variable service?

Cost me £110 at my Skoda garage. That's the hatchback. Nothing wrong with car

No fixed. Should I be on variable? Don't know much about the 2 different types to be honest.

Apart from drinking s£&t loads of oil it's been ok. Had oil warning on for first time following a drive to Bristol this weekend.

Can the New Fabia Vrs go onto variable servicing??, thought it had to be fixed

I believe it is fixed.

Fixed every 10k or 12k though? They change their minds like the wind.

Glad its got a chain instead of a belt so no increase in running costs unlike the old vRS MK1.

Vrs has a chain! Why does diesels have belts well I think it has, seems a lot of cars are going back to chains?

Strange - just assumed that there would be a variable option.

Have heared that most dealers are trying to go to fixed instead of variable servicing

They would lol!

I would too - high performance engine needs oil changing more often! Good to know servicing is cheap.

I wont be doing any more than 10K a year, so fixed servicing works for me!
