Hi All,

Managed to check over my sisters fabia 1.9 sdi today but knowing little about these cars is a bind and she is panicing because she is a nurse and needs to get to work.

Anyway all glow plugs are ok and apart from a buzzing noise on the plug above the air intake pipe I noticed the fuel tank pump was not making any noise.

There is a circuit down to it of about 3 volts but the pump is silent.

I have read a few threads on here saying there is a relay for it but I can't find any on the car. I did find the fusebox on the drivers side but no relays??

Also is there a safety cut out switch that needs to be checked???

If anyone has a picture of it and knows how to find it please let me know otherwise my sister is going to swipe my car!!!

According to the Haynes manual the fuel cutout switch is mounted on the rear of the pump it is acctuated by a relay which is part of the immobilliser. Not much help I know,but!

Surely one of you wonderful teccys knows where the ful pump relay is and how to get to it???
