Fabia xenon auto level sensor/washer system

Featured Replies

Hi, hoping someone can help me. Im looking at fitting the auto level sensor for my xenon's, i can see where it fits, i just cant see where it plugs in or where a loom would run.

Also looking at retro fitting the headlight washer system and need to know if it runs via its own pump and needs a 12v supply, or like other VAGs needs no 12v and works via pressure. Ive checked the fuse schematics and both systems already share fuses with other things and the fuses are already in.

Really im looking for a fabia loom wiring diagram, where looms/pumps/pipes run or pictures of the original factory installations. If someone has these options from factory fit and could take a few pictures id really appreciate it, and can give my email so they can be sent straight to me.

Thank you :)

I've done lots of research into this, it can't be done easily... because the whole loom requires replacing for the car just for the rear sensor. It doesn't have it's own seperate loom.

So if you wanted to do it, you'll need to strip out the inside of the car to replace the whole current loom with the one from a xenon equipped car.

I guess the headlight washers are possible, but parts are expensive. It needs a new washer bottle with 2 pumps rather then the 1 currently.

Ah ok, cheers for the quick reply. I thought it would be a plug and play job because the headlights have no extra plugs than normal headlights. Never mind. Still wouldnt mind fitting the headlight washers as this should be an easier job.

Yes as said not easy, if i was you id just fit the washers and leave the levelling sensor as they still work without that.

The only person i know who has retro fitted everything is ross (tech1e)

Ah, yeah, you do to see the images. It's free etc, no spam or anything though.
