1.9, 58k and she is on a 55 plate

Every year or 10,000miles replace oil, oil filter, drain water out of fuel filter

Every 2years replace brake fluid and pollen filter

Every 40,000miles or evey 4years replace air filter, fuel filter,

Every 80,000miles or 4years replace timing belts, tensioners, aux' belt

Every 5years replace engine coolant

Every 2nd timing belt change I replace all the ideler pulleys and water pump, some people do this every change.

This should give you a starting point! B)

I'd replace the belt at 60k as recomended in the service manual.

I'd replace the belt at 60k as recomended in the service manual.

Haynes say VAG say 60k miles for engines with unit injectors (without injection pump) and 80k miles for engines without unit injectors (with injection pump). B)

Engine codes AMF,ASZ,ATD have unit injectors so 60k miles!, but i'd still do every 4yrs!! B)
