My First Yeti Grumble

Featured Replies

Question where are the tie down points in the boot in the yeti and if you fit the skoda boot liners aren't they obscured anyway?

Small price to pay in my view if it keeps everything clean and tidy!

In your picture, on the left wheelarch just ahead of the vertical carpet on the side (which you don't get anymore) there is a black area. That is the front left hook. There is a similar one at the rear and of course or the righthand side as well.

I won't however be surprised if these covers don't have a slit in there to allow something to go through. Ask them. They make a slit in them for the boot door version to let the grab handle through...

I've actually asked them the following questions and i'm awaiting a response

Q1 - With the Rear Plus (WITH Seat Split) can the centre section stay upright when the centre seat is used in the armrest mode. So it effectively acts as a barrier between the boot and passenger compartment.

Q2 - With the middle Yeti seat able to be removed and the 2 outer seats slide towards the middle. is their an option that can allow for the changes in seat configuration. Such as making the Rear Plus in 3 sections 1 per seat so that the changes in configuration can be accomdated.

When they respond I'll ask them about access to the tie down points.

As for the basket. it's quite small and so i don't see a use for it. When I had the demo Yeti for a week it got removed and put under the boot floor as it was in the way when the Dog cage was in the boot.

My version of the boot liner. Got the chequerplate mats from a local polymer company we make moulds for. Not a permanent fixture but keeps the trim tidy on trips to the dump or DIY store...

...(the latter doesn't happen very often nowadays :D )
