A SEAT Cordoba, gods know what engine size, on the island of Lanzarote.

It was an interesting experience. First of all, the boot just about managed to cram in all the luggage that four of us had put in my Octavia. I felt instantly at home - all the controls were in the right place (allowing for LHD) - but the instrument panel was a rather scary shade of red.

The engine was totally silent - when stopped at traffic lights, I had to keep glancing at the rev counter to make sure it was running. On the other hand, it was a bit gutless - overtakes definitely required a lopt of forward planning.

All in all, really nice car.
