Hi all.

I've recently bought my 1st ever Skoda, an '07 Octavia vRS hatchback!

I bought it 'cos my partner has a VW 2.0T Eos & I fancied a car with the same power train, but I found that a Golf is a little too small for my needs.

(The Skoda isn't really a replacement car, my trusty 3 litre V6 Mondeo Estate is still going to be the workhorse, I just wanted another car to play with... Indulge me please, I'm getting old & fancied a new toy!)

The Octavia seems to be a nice car, it's black with 1 previous owner & has covered 25K miles, very clean & tidy.

I might be wanting a little more performance some time o any advice regarding re-mapping , et. would be much appreciated.

So far I'm pleased with the car, driven gently the fuel economy is good & it's no slouch when thered mist descends.....

Greetings to you all, DC.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to Briskoda

Hi... I recently bought a used Skoda Superb 1.8T (2003 Model) after moving in to the UK from India. I think it is a great vehicle... great build quality, great to drive, and very very comfortable.

This is my first Skoda as I had always wanted to own one since the time Skoda came to India, but the price points were a little more than my budget. Now that I have experienced the Skoda virtues, I am surely putting my money into one after I return home.

Hello and Welcome to Briskoda

Hello DC and welcome along :)

I read that Shark are very well thought of with regards to mapping.
