Torque settings for wheels ?

Featured Replies

Hello One & All.

Need the correct alloy wheel bolt torque spec setting to re-tighten to correct torque after wheel refurbishment .

Doesn't matter if in pounds feet / Newton metres as my torque wrench has most scale markings.

Haynes manual (don't laugh)emoticon-0136-giggle.gif has one setting of 89Ibs ft. which could be for a steel or alloy wheel (not stated).

Many thanks emoticon-0148-yes.gif

That's the correct one from when I searched the other day, equates to around 120nm

Thanks for that Matt.

Did see in the past some member also quotes the book as you have said. 120nm or 89Ibs ft.emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Cheers for support. Ian.

I torque mine to 120Nm!

Remember to recheck after a few days!

Yep - 120Nm emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Thats correct....and remember to do them up in a cross diagonal pattern.....like when you draw a 5point star without lifting the pen!...This is to ensure level pressure etc. B)
