HUD - Speed warning

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

My MFD shows me the option Speed warning but it always displays as - - -

What is this and why does it never do anything?

My radio is a sat nav nexus (MfD2 I think)

Cheers in advance

The speed warning is just that a warning to a set speed you have selected i have it set to 75mph.

The speed warning is something you have to set yourself, it's primary function is for when you have tyres with a lower spped rating on than the standard tyres, winter tyres for instance, you can set the upper speed limit for those tyres and the maxidot will ping and display the limit if you are going over it.

You guessed my next question yet....

....how do I set my upper speed limit?

Cheers again

Press the ok button on the bottom Of the right stalk then use the up down arrows at the end of the stalk before pressing ok again :)

The --- just means it isn't set
