Featured Replies

guys

Ive been loking for the settings on my maxi dot for settin the anti hi-jack on the doors but i cant find it ? Does it need activating with VAG.com ?

ta

Yes it does

No it doesn't.

It is in the maxi-dot menu somewhere. I know because my car didn't have it enabled and I enabled it via maxi-dot.

I can't remember off the top of my head which section it's in though, sorry.

It's not called anti-hijack though, so if that's what you're looking for it's no wonder you can't find it! :D

Again, I can't remember what it is called though.

Some help I am!

Setup - Convenience - Door Open - Automatic.

Options are:-

- Door Lock = [ON] - automatically locks doors when car goes over 15-20km/h

- Door Unlock = [ON] - automatically unlocks doors when car is switched off and key fob is removed from the ignition barrel.

i too initially thought that this was a job for "vcds", but was pointed out by some helpful forum members that this can be done via the maxidot :)

saved me trip to the dealer :D
