Hi, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything (Maybe someone can point me in the direction of an older topic).

Anyway, my key fob has stopped unlocking the car with the button. So I have to unlock the car with the key, quite annoying as this sets the alarm off when I get in. The strange thing is that I can still open the boot with the button and also lock the car with the button.

Any ideas?

After some digging about I found my spare key. That worked fine. So I decided to put a new battery in the one that wasn't working and now that works fine too

I had assumed it wasn't the battery as it was still working to lock and open the boot, it obviously needs more power to unlock the doors?

So thanks, it turned out to be a simple fix.

Welcome to world of random electrical problems!! Mine does weird things when the battery is low in the fob!
