Parrot MKi9200 Adapter Harness

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a 2006 Superb 1.9td1 130 Exclusive. It has a Rhapsody double Din unit fitted.I need a Harness adapter to fit a Parrot Mki9200 bluetooth kit to my car.

There seems that there is some confusion about the type of harness that fits. I need a harness that suits a Can Bus setup but I know that there are two types: SOT-976 and SOT-076

Which one is the correct type ?

My solution to this was to go to Halfrauds and ask them to check it out. At least if it was wrong you could blame them and exchange it.

Most Mk1 Superb's should have standard ISO connections on the stereo (including Sat-Nav) the ISO leads that come with the Parrot should go straight in.

The parrot installation website here seems to suggest that cars built upto March 2006 do not require any additional cables, but from 04/2006 the PC000018AA (SOT-976) is required ...

I needed that cable but it was for my 2007 Octavia.

The Parrot website does suggest that lead, however my 57' reg MK1 Elegance did not need any additional wiring. If you have a MK1 Superb it probably won't need any extra cables.
