What kind of files can you play via MID on VRS

Featured Replies

As per the title, what files does the MDI system support?

All my tunes on my PC are in WMA do these work?

Thanks

Unprotected WMA will play without problem, if they are protected then no they will not play.

Thanks, I think they are unprotected, they are just ripped from CD's

You can always convert them to mp3 anyway that's what I did, there are various free converters on the web

Aye thats an option, I've done that for the Clio as it only plays MP3 cd's however I don't fancy converting my full collection, we'll see I suppose. All I need now is the car !

Does anyone know if Lossless FLAC works? Surely mdi is just the connection method so I'm guessing yes?

Nope, still only MP3 or WMA. Unless you connect an iPOD/iPhone then you can also play AAC protected/unprotected music.
