TPMS

Featured Replies

I was fiddling around with the VCDS today and i happened to check the TPMS (k3/k4/k5-installed/active) in central electronics 09...I was expecting an error to pop up but it didnt !!

I then activated 65- Tirepressure monitoring in the CAN GATEWAY and i got a tpms warning light active.

I also got 65-TPMS in the installed list on the face page of VCDS.

On opening 65-address I got part number for the TPMS, long coding, adaptation and the lot...

I also got a fault code saying -- Control module incorrectly coded ....

My ABS MODULE IS mk7.

So my question is that can correct coding activate INDIRECT TPMS in our cars ?

I'm aware that it is fairly easy to activate indirect tpms in the cars with ABS module mk6 i.e. the ones with ESP.

BBut not really sure of this one !

Any experts can share their expert opinions on this ?
