I've bought my 2000 Fabia and it's fitted with a tow bar, which i don't want! But i can't seem to find a rear slam pannel to fit on my car if i remove it. If anyone is interested in swapping their slam pannel for my tow bar, let me know.

I've got a 2004 fabia hatchback on which I'd love to fit a towbar. I assume I have a rear slammer panel on my car, though tbh I have no idea what that means. Let me know if we can do an easy swap.

Well I'm on my phone so I don't know your location, but you would have to be in the Newcastle area for the swap.

Anyway, I think it's known as the cross member or x member, it's the strong metal plate that goes along the back of the car behind the bumper. Well the tow bar comes fitted to that... So to remove the tow bar I need to remove the slam panel or cross member or whatever you want to call it

I don't want the tow bar anymore but if I remove it and have a rear end collision... It wouldnt go well for my car! But my point is! If anyone wanted to fit my tow bar to their car, they would need to remove there slam panel anyway, so that's why I would be willing to do a straight swap.
