I'm thinking of buying a New Octavia 1.6 FSI. I don't do many miles, about 75/100 per week to and from work and the occasional trip to North Wales. Economy isn't much of an issue but I do like the extras. Would a 1.6 Octavia Elegance fit the bill or should I go for a diesel with less spec

if you do minimal miles and like the toys go petrol and high spec...

the 1.6 fsi wont exactly use fuel at a high rate... you will still be in the 40mpg bracket.
