I have a set of Pioneer components that I had in my old car, I don't really want to get rid of them as the sound quality they produce is excellent and they are not worth anything second hand, so wandering weather they would fit. they are 6.5inch which as I understand is the size i want but more concerned with the depth, i haven't really got the time to take the door apart to see so need some help:

I have a set of those and attempted to fit them before, even with MDF spacer rings they will be too deep, and will either foul the window rail or the door card, depending on how much you space them.

I think they will be a tiny bit too big. I have Rainbow SAC's which are 62mm deep I think, and they are a very tight fit... about the limit without cutting the door card for some sort of custom mounting.

Screw them onto the outside of the door card with self-tappers...
