I do the trip on the M62 eastbound as I pass the J25 at Brighouse and approach Hartshead Moor Services I always get a traffic warning.

Can anyone explain why this happens every time even though there is a clear road ahead.

My only thought is that the Highways Agency have not updated their reports from earlier lengthy central barrier works.

The unit uses TMC to generate this data, you'll get alerts for roadworks and traffic problems. If there were roadworks there recently then as you say, someone has forgot to tell someone else they are now completed.
