Fabric & retrim cost. He said he has some mk6 gti material in stock already.

hmmm, not sure as really fancy leather. If im paying that kinda money might as well put a fraction more for some cow hide

It's not so much the cost that puts me off leather, its the wear and tear from jean studs or kids feet, etc. At least fabric can be cleaned up ok.
