3rd gear - no overtaking power

Update : Removed intake pipe to throttle body , noticed oil in the throttle body entrance so to speak. Wiped clean with kitchen roll  that part on the throttle body itself and the pipe that joins to it. Then removed K&N 57i kit and replaced with original airbox. I noticed when removing the K&N the hose clamps didnt seem very tight and the filter itself wasnt very clean also the pipe that had been stuffed into the provided cold feed tube was cracked (i belive this is the secondary air pump thingy , very plastic and rigid) . Also checked the plumbing to the forge recirc but that looked ok . Anyway , refited the oem box and made sure the fittings where good and tight then took it out for a run.

Much much better! Smooth power delivery , 1st and 2nd felt rapid , 3rd felt very improved and no longer gutless. So nice smile on my face after a incredibly bad weekend with this car.

Cracked my windshield when the wiper arm slammed down as i was trying to the put on a new blade, passat parked next to me and its passanger chipped my door and finally my daughter walked on my cup holder breaking it. :(

buy hey, i think i nailed my power problem and that happend after all the bad stuff B)

Thanks for all your help all !

Probably just as well you binned off the K&N kit. Cool.
