I think they're exactly the same lens as in the boot as well.. so see how much Skoda them selves will charge for boot lights.. the bulbs are already un colored as they are,.

You are supposed to have red as a warning light...but I have seen light lenses that are red for the top half and white for the bottom half...from a VAG car...don't know which one tho' B)

You are supposed to have red as a warning light...

Not strictly true.. Large debate was had about this when I posted up pics of mine before. :rofl:

The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations states:

(2) No vehicle shall be fitted with a lamp which is capable of showing any light to the rear, other than a red light, except–

(a)amber light from a direction indicator or side marker lamp;

(b)white light from a reversing lamp;

©white light from a work lamp;

(d)light to illuminate the interior of a vehicle;

etc etc

(d)light to illuminate the interior of a vehicle;

The lights in the door are not there to illuminate the inside of the car (that's what interior lights and footwel lights are for) the ones in the doors are marker lights for oncoming vehicles so the open door stands out more at night and also to light the area where you are about to step.
