Advice and help please. I have a W reg Felicia 1.3 mpi which has a lack of power at low revs when the engine warm. Starts and runs up motorways fine, cold tick over steady 1000rpm and warm about 750 rpm but spend a few minutes waiting for a traffic light to change and there'll be no power below 1800 rpm so have to rev it or it'll stall pulling away.

I plugged VAC-COM into the ECU and there were faults 513, 525, 635, 522, 537 which I cleared and they have not returned.

I intend to remove and clean the throttle body as per manufactures instruction

With warm engine and the car sitting at a steady tick over does the ECU go into closed loop mode and when the throttle is "blipped" goes into open loop mode?

The water temp sensor, four pin, two for temp gauge two for ECU. The old one had a yellow band and the new one has a blue band. The resistances are different. Which is the right one? Are they compatible? What effect do they have on the ECU and engine running?

Is there a source of information on what other sensors there are on the Felicia and their characteristics and effect on the ECU?

Does the paid for replacement software for VAG-COM allow realtime screen displays of the individual sensor responses?

What color of wires you use to check lambda sonde voltage?

Have a look at http://seekpart24.com/hella/coolant-temperature-sensor-6pt009107421 and you'll find the right temp. sensor depending on your vehicle. Ring color varies in temp. range, vehicle type, engine size, year, and even manufacturer.

The only public source of detailed technical information for Felicia that I know of is in Czech as scanned PDF

It might help partially the Felicia Haynes manual, but I doubt they go farther than replace/test/install routine.

About VAG-COM readings: AFAIK the answer is yes, at least the software (version 311 or 409) has all capabilities in there.
