Featured Replies

hi all been a while since i posted but im having a problem with my car , its fitted with a k04 hybrid and a bits to go with it , the problem im having is when you boot it the boost is spiking at 1.8 bar but it bounces from about 1.5 bar to 1.8 there is no smoothness at all put vag com on it and got p0130 lambda sensor intermittent , not long fitted a new rear one so ? may be the front one ? and got p1250 fuel level to low ? any help would be great

Fuel level low could be a sign of your injectors not being able to cope with the extra fueling because of the turbo :wonder:

it running s3 injectors should be ok i was told ?

It could be your map needs tweaking

Is the pump up to supplying the required fuel? May not be giving enough fuel pressure.

I know *some* maps require the use of a 4bar pressure regulator. Not sure why as the fuel pressure regulators run at 1:1 rising rate and with a base rate of pressure (i.e. if running 3.5bar at 0psi positive boost, at 14.5psi (1bar) positive boost it would be putting fuel through at 4.5bar.

When you said fluttering in the title i thought you meant boost surge. TBH sounds like you may need the map adjusting.

might pop it down to will at perforance torque and see what he say but 400 quid a time for a re map adjust it gets expensive

should have used r-tech, they will make sure its 100% and normally tweak it for free if you have issues.

400 a time for a tweak is a bit steep! Ive had my map treaked several times by my tuner and ive never been charged!

Try changing the fuel filter. The engine may be getting starvation problems. Changed mine at 50k and it was jet black inside. Worth doing anyway, even if it doesn't fix it!
