we have enough, i am waiting on hearing back from the manufacturer...will update as soon as i know

hows it going? Have they got back to you yet? (yes...im impatient...i know) :p

I notice on their website it appears to be pre-order only as if they have no stock :'(

yup i just spoke to them again today....there is a nationwide stock issue, they are trying to resolve it, but we are going to have to be patient, am in talks with them and they are keeping me updated on the progress and we will be the first to know when they have stock as we have easily enough numbers to meet the group buy requirments.

As for the other list, i have record of both and actual numbers involved so dont worry buddy!

YAY....good news. We are half way there at least.

Boo, not to worry.

I've had a CG-Lock for about 4 years now and I love it.

Send me yours please, Rob :)

I actually have two, but SWMBO occasionally decides she likes hers too and gets me to re-fit it.

Is there still time to get in on this group buy?

Id say so as the manufacturer are having supply issues,

I don't quite understand this, the most dangerous seatbelt in a car is a lap belt hence why they have done away with them and have instead went for three point belts, this device takes the standard 3 point belt and makes it more like a lap belt? Somehow this sounds backwards?! Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also how will this work when the pre tensioners fire? I've been in a accident where the airbags and pre tensioners fired and they fired with such force the belt was uncomfortably tight across my lap and even broke the plastic surrounding the seatbelt, if this device makes the belt tighter wouldn't this increase the chances of broken hips? Also the website says having a tight lapbelt controls your centre of gravity and increases your vehicle control? That sounds complete nonsense?

To justify my thoughts I keep thinking of rally drivers and pilots, they all have either 4 or 5 point seat belts and none of those include lapbelts as these have shown to be highly dangerous.
