any one with a vagcom

Featured Replies

I was driving home after a long night and my car went into "safe mode" for the first time and felt as if it had no turbo. Now the engine managment light was on and had been prior due to having an egr delete installed, there were no strange circumstances that offer an explanation as to why this has happened as the car has been driving fine for a couple of weeks since having the egr installed. I carried on driving home and made it all the way home so when i was a street away i turned the car off and on again and it didnt seem to be in safe mode anymore and drove fine for the 10 seconds remaining of my journey.

this is where i am asking a favour and seeing if anyone in the didcot area has a vagcom and is free sat/sun afternoon for a wee fault code check, or is there a "paper clip" method i can use?

thanks matt
