SuperPro Gearbox Bush Installed

Featured Replies

Purchased one of these from Awesome this afternoon.

A doddle to fit in about 20 mins, verdict:

There is definately more vibration in the cabin, but no where near as much as I was expecting, and I've heard this should even dampen down as the bush beds in. Not driven far or hard with it in yet, but shifting seems lighter than before, and there seems to be less feedback to the gearstick. Long term it may get annoying, but isn't currently, and if its only going to improve I can't see there being a problem, so far so good...

I had all uprated mounts

2 in the bay and the dogbone

All were vibrateknics! Omg! Never again! Was laughable with them all in

The superpro bush has bedded in now on my vrs and the vibration is minimum compared to when I first fitted it, at times I forget it's even there now

That's good news, although its not too bad at all as it is, only notice a difference at idle.

I've heard the vibratechnics stuff is pretty stiff, guessing with all the mounts done it was similar to sitting on a washing machine.

A friend of mine built a mini track car once where the engine was just welded straight to the chassis, all the girls loved the ride charactoristics...

Oh it was unbelievable

If you had a can of coke in the cupholder it would dance round and round in a circle lol

P.s that was coupled with an smf

All 3 uprated mounts jizzes all over the smf clatter

If vibration is annoying at idle you can increase the idle speed slightly came it down alot

try adding a smf...
