Oil pick up pipe replaced

Featured Replies

After checking through all the paperwork, I could see no record of the oil pick up pipe having been replaced, the general view is that it needs replacing around 75k, mine was near 116k so got the parts and one of the engineers in work offered to sort for me as I was working, all in all took just over 2hrs, also fitted a new oil filter.

I was shocked at the state of the pick up pipe, it was nearly blocked so could have been very expensive soon.

I'm assuming this is located in the sump? How much were the parts?

Yep, the Skoda part number for the pipe is S06A115251 that is for an AUQ but I have been told they are all the same, retail price is £8.23, Oring is SN0282222, £2.16

Same pipe fitted to: AGU, ARX, AUQ, AUM, AQY, AEG, APK, AZH, BFQ plus diesel eng.: AQM, AGR ,ALH, ATD, AHF, ASV ASZ.

Yeh I found your thread via google, very helpfull, I will do it myself, usually do all my own servicing etc.

I'll be watching with interest to see what yours looks like when it comes off because everyone else is changing them on vRSs, no diesels as yet.

Snap, me too. Especially as I run on long life oil, with 30k between changes....
