Featured Replies

Hi guys, I know it isnt the best question to ask here but there is such a variety of people and cars on here I thought I would ask anyway!!

I'm looking at buying a ford with a 2.0 tdci 140bhp engine. Has anyone heard any horror stories with it? It seems to be fitted to pugs, citroens, ford, Volvo, jaguar, land rovers an nothing stands out but I just wondered if anyone here had any experience?

That's good news. I'm looking at one with 90k on it but 1 owner and full history. Seems decent but I need to keep this one so need the reliability of mega miles!

Injectors and cam shaft sensor seem to be the common problem on the Mondeo's.

Nice choice, best handling "MPV" I've ever been in, I was astounded at how well these things drive and if I needed a car like this then one of these would be top of my list... with the 2.5 pertol turbo if I could afford to run it :-)

I went and drove everything I could get my hands on..from mondeos to Citroën C2's as I just wasn't sure what I wanted. After driving the mondeo and being impressed with the quality I thought I'd look at the S-Max. Got in and it just felt so good. Nice driving position, great to drive, good spec and good economy. Looking forward to collecting it!

I used to really like the 2l hdi in the 407 which is the same as the 2l tdci only a different fuel system was used. It was a very refined/smooth engine and I loved it while I had it.
