Source a Turbo Charger

Final outcome of my turbo saga is as follows:

The turbo was taken by The Turbo Centre for clean and rebuild. I was then advised that a pin was seized/broken and a full repair necessary.

Full repair carried out. I was advised to drive the car in such a manner that the turbo kicked in regularly especially if the car was mainly used as a "town" vehicle. Alternatively, to take the car out for "rigorous" drive every week.

Anyway, car is done now and running better than ever. No misfiring etc etc. Cost = £435

The overriding message coming from this experience is as follows: Don't drive a tdi like a granny. It needs a bit of stick every now and then.

Cheers to everyone for their thoughts/help/views. emoticon-0148-yes.gif
