Had the car on the rollers today

It made 220bhp @ 5434rpm & 218.6 lbft or torque @ 4928rpm the operator said it was running bang on and loved the Vrs cars.

Time for that remap now :giggle:

Is that standard? If so I would be surprised if it's making a genuine 220bhp.

+1. If standard, that's impressive (or misleading) !

202hp at the wheels and yep all standard running on Vpower and a fresh airfilter(not that it matters on the filter lol) but nothing done to it.

Second run was 217bhp 198bhp at the wheels

That seems a bit high. Was it run in 3rd gear?

yes it was mate.

Personally I wouldn't even bother paying for any other RR than a Dyno Dynamics one, they are renowned for being accurate but also there is very little power difference between each set of Rollers.

It should be done in whatever gear will give closest to a 1:1 ratio, though admittedly I don't know the ratios of the vRS manual box. Does anyone have that info?

Not sure if it helps, but my CR has had three runs, all in 4th. Is the gearbox the same for petrol/diesel?

Good to get a before figure, then once mapped you will have an accurate figure that the map has given you. Just wait til you see the torque improvement :)

Oh and at least you know its healthy, weahter its 220bhp or 200bhp, I reckon the map will give you 50bhp and +70lbs of torque. Be interesting to see the re-run figures, let it have a couple of tanks of V-Power first though.
