Performance Camshafts

Featured Replies

Anyone aware of any available performance camshafts or other goodies for the 1.3MPi Felicia engine, car is ex-skoda challange winning rally car but we need to extract a couple of more gg's from the wee engine, also need to drop the gearing, anyone know what crown and pinions that are available?

if it's got a 1.3mpi gearbox it will already have the lowest ratio final drive you can get, which is 4.11:1

As far as cams and so on are concerned, there are plenty available, lots of regrinds, although there's not that much meat left on them so they're a bit thin after it. I've had a few, and all of them have transformed the engine, but you'd need to remap to suit them.

Do you know if yours has the 'challenge spec' ECU with the raised rev limiter? I've only driven one but it was a lot quicker than standard...

Hi Yes the Car has the Challenge Spec ECU rev'ing nicely to 7K power starts to flatten off @ about 6.7K but it is well into the Rev counter red line by then
