Hello,

I am mesmerized with the practicality of the SM and ordered one 2 months ago, now this Friday I will pick up my new car in mato brown

The problem is my wife and some friends thinks that SM looks like as commercial vehicles (like Ford Transit, etc)

so I decided to add a color touch to change this perspective.

After I will receive the new car, I will add color film in black ( not matte) to roof part.

it's also an option in 2012 models. and sorry for the basic Photoshop skills, it will look like this,

I like the idea of a contrast and yours looks like a good choice-in view of your climate have you thought of a lighter and more reflective option? A black roof will heat the car up I would have thought.

Istanbul is not always hot, in winter time it also snows so weather conditions are not a big problem, ( also my other car is already black- no problem with heat)

about the delivery time, yes it's surprisingly fast, in top gear when they first said 6 months of waiting line, I was surprised.

It seems that SM is a very good seller in Europe and Skoda tries to increase the brand image in Turkey, Skoda was not popular since 2000, so people will not tend to wait for 6 months for a Skoda, and I believe they are arranging different production times and cutting the queue for different countries.

anyway, if you plan to have your SM asap, you can order from Turkey, you will have 4 months of advantage but huge amount of tax
