Fabia II vRS - Low Washer Fluid Warning

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I'd really appreciate it if someone can categorically tell me whether the Fabia II vRS has the sensor installed for the low washer fluid warning and that it just needs coding.

Call me sceptical but I cant believe this is the case otherwise it would surely come coded as standard.

If this is fact, i'd like to get the car booked into the dealer some time to have this enabled....I just dont want to end up with the car telling me its empty all the time as a result of not having the sensor, that would be really annoying!

Cheers

If you really, really want to know for sure - find a local member with VCDS :)

Where are you located? Filling some location info in your profile helps people to help you

I think you have to order headlight washers to ensure you get a warning light (and a bigger washer bottle). The sensor may be there right enough but I doubt it because the washer bottle itself is quite different. Hope I'm wrong for your sake! Let us know how you get on.

Cheers guys, not too fussed but if it is something definitely fitted to the standard car (i.e. without headlight washers or curve projector lights) that can be enabled and someone can confirm that for sure I'd like to get it done.

Has someone with access to vagcom and a standard MK2 vRS tried this out?
