I see on eBay I can buy a plug-in gizmo for about £20 that analyses what the engine fault codes are. However, it looks pretty easy to me to buy the wrong one, what with different types, protocols and adapter cables.

Can anyone tell me which is the right one for my 2002 petrol Octavia Classic (yes, the basic one), and perhaps point me in the right direction to find it?
