Well I havent actually done this since I got my fabia :) so I suppose I better do it.

Well my names John and I passed my driving test bout a month ago (1st Time) My first car was 51 place corsa but I got rid of that after 2 weeks and I bought myself a Fabia Sport. She's a 1.2 70bhp 08 plate sport with 28,000 on the clock and at cheap price I basicly fell in love when I first saw it

Welcome to Briskoda

We have friends over there, so might see you about, (we lived in Ivanhoe road a few years back).

Congrats passing first time, my no-1 son took two goes and no-2 was third time lucky, my nephew just failled for the 5th time, (nerves)

Really tight on tests in the north east on account of the amount of accidents involving young drivers, so a 1st time pass is impressive.

Consider doing Pass Plus, will save you many more times it's cost on your insurance over the next couple of years.

Happy motoring.

I did consider doing it, but my insurance is quite low as it is, so I dont really see the point in paying another £200 or so just to save a little bit

Another thing I was going to ask you guys was, I,m looking to make the car sound a bit more sporty (not total chavvy) but I want to do it without making it really bad on fuel, has anyone got any suggestions ?

Cheers

John

Cheers mate, and that is a nice read one you,ve got there but I do prefer black :) once I get it back from garage I'll get it all cleaned and polished and I'll upload some pictures

yep get some pics up.any other plans apart from a bit sportier noise ?

Well I was thinking on lowering it, but I decided against that because of speed bumps in my area. Once I get the money am going to put on the black monte carlo girll and I thought but upgrading headlights to make them more brighter but I,m not very sure on how to go about that

cool.I'm thinking of upgrading lights and getting a hid kit.you can get them of eBay for about £60.basically converts to gas filled xenon.doddle to fit.bought 10-15 mins

Have you got a link to it ?

there's so many different makes on there. I'm pretty sure the bulb type we need is h7 (I'll double check)

so just type into eBay search "h7 hid kit" and you'll see plenty come up.

there's different bulb colours. 5000k and 6000k are the most neutral I think.a kinda ice white

Hi and welcome to the forum.
