Not specifically that engine, no - but some GUNK, a reasonably stiff-bristled brush, a hosepipe and a sunny day (so it dries off relatively quickly) would do the trick.

Don't use a jetwash...

they fitted an incomplete (missing seal) oil filter to my vRS when they serviced it a few days ago, and covered the bay and engine in oil, after fixing it they valeted the car and "steam cleaned" the engine bay, looks like newnow, any valeter should be able to steam clean your engine for a few quid :thumbup:

Steam cleaning removes all the residual wax etc on a new engine bay. It will look good for a while but will quickly deteriorate. OK on a car you're about to sell but not so sure on a car you've recently bought ;)

If your keeping it clean removing the wax won't cause any issues.
