vag com and engine management light

my engine management light has come on. I was wondering if somebody could run vag com on my car, either in derby area during the week or reading at the weekend? Travelling between the two on monday, so that's also a possibility. All the lights on dash came on and the speedo didn't work, i had a quick fiddle with the battery terminals (fixed the problem before) and all lights went out except for eml.
