Underseat Storage

Featured Replies

To replace and change the under seat storage on the drivers side and passenger side is it a seat out job? Or can it be done without?

I think I've seen a pic guide in the tech guides of the Fabia section...a bit buried i think....I'm certain I saw something........involves removing the four bolts that hold the seat down and tilting the seat back to the rear of the car (or remove completely) and then undoing some torx??? Screws and removing some seat plastic trim.......easy job by the looks of it...might need new seat to car bolts tho'!!!! B)

Found it!!!!!!

i dot mine last week in like 15 mins, undo all 4 seat bolts and tip the seat back. dont need to physically take it out the car. then line up sotrage box and put in the 3-4 screws and then the seat screws, done, pretty simple mate

Where did you get the replacement box? And how much?

And what's needed for the bolts to come out?

4 torx screws to remove. I found it easier to take the trim off from the door side of the seat aswell to get access to the screws when the new drawer is in, as it makes it easier to tighten them up.I think i also removed the height adjuster for better access.Fits nice and snug then!

And @wilsy theyre roughly £9 from a main dealer/TPS

I have a CD player on my passenger side and I want a under-seat storage instead. How would I go about doing that? Does anyone know a part number for it?
